Ivette is a bilingual Speech Language Pathology Assistant who graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree from Carlos Albizu University. She is currently pursuing her Masters degree in Speech Pathology at Nova Southeastern University. She has over 12 years of experience in treating a variety of speech and language disorders in the pediatric population. Ivette is also experienced in using Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) and Alternative Augmentative Communication Devices (AAC) to aid communication. She has worked in home health as well as early intervention settings which makes her a well rounded therapist. Ivette likes to create individualized books for the children she sees to provide parents with activities and techniques to use at home. When she’s not working or in school, Ivette loves being with her husband and 4 children. She enjoys going to movies, to the beach, and to the park.
