Kathy Blanco, LMHC

kathy-blancoKathy, un Asesor de Salud Mental, se graduó con su Maestría en Consejería en Rehabilitación de la Universidad de Kentucky y cuenta con más 25 años de experiencia trabajando como consejera. Kathy ha estado casada durante 37 año. Ella y su esposo tienen 4 hijos exitosos. Sus hijos son y siempre han sido su pasión. Orgullosamente, todos ellos están haciendo bien, uno un farmacéutico, la próxima Ingeniero Eléctrico en la Fuerza Aérea, Un médico y su hija más joven Julia es un junior en la Escuela de Enfermería. Kathy cree que todas las personas puedan lograr el éxito y la realización personal. En su terapia, Kathy ayuda a las familias a encontrar un equilibrio entre overachieving y bajo rendimiento. Ella cree que las familias pueden adaptar y realizar los cambios que ayudarán a los niños a alcanzar sus metas ahora y más adelante en la vida. Ella es una terapeuta de Interacción de Niños de Padres certificada (PCIT) y consejero de rehabilitación certificada. Sus puntos fuertes en el campo incluyen la escucha, motivar, establecer una buena relación, y ayudar a las personas a ser "su propio terapeuta" y "para resolver sus propios problemas". En su tiempo libre, Kathy disfruta de paseos en bote, andar en bicicleta, paseos a caballo, lectura, y trabajando en eventos de caridad como Manatee Hope.

Virginia primera línea, M. A., LMHC

Virginia es un consejero de salud mental bilingüe que se graduó con una Maestría en Artes de la Universidad de Webster. Ella tiene más de 10 años de experiencia y cree que la salud mental es necesaria para estar sano en otras áreas de nuestra vida. Virginia es muy empático con sus clientes lo que hace que se sientan entendidos. También trabaja bien con los padres y con frecuencia les da ideas para el arrastre casa de estrategias de asesoramiento. En su tiempo libre, Virginia le gusta ir en los viajes con su familia, ejercicio, y pasar tiempo con los amigos.



Mary A. Pogan, LCSW

Mary is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She attended St. Leo University where she obtained her Masters in Clinical Social Work. Her background involves working 5 years as a licensed counselor and 30 years as a parent. I Mary grew up in upstate NY and lived there until 2000 when her family moved here to Bradenton, Florida. She has been married for 32 año, with 3 niños, and now 1 grandchild. Mary’s professional skills and areas of interest include: Licensed Clinical Social Work, Internship Counselor working with sexually abused children and adolescents, courses in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), taught mindfulness to kids in elementary school “Mindful Kids Program”; Solution focused therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Mary chose to become a therapist because, “I’m passionate about connecting with others in a meaningful way, sharing their challenges and successes. I view therapy less about giving advice and more about listening, understanding and problem solving together. I was a parent long before I became a therapist and I hope to be a partner with families to guide them through life’s difficulties. I know how hard it is to talk about problems in our families. But, it’s worth it. It’s so rewarding to see how small steps can lead to big changes in our day to day experience.” In her free time Mary loves spending time with family, boating, gardening, and taking long walks while listening to audiobooks.

Robyn Spirtas, Ph.D.

Robyn Spirtas is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a PhD in Counseling Psychology. Born in NYC, she moved with her family to Florida at the age of 5 and has been here ever since. She was raised on the East Coast of Florida and moved to the West Coast as an adult. She has been here for over 20 years now and loves it. Dr. Robyn has a background in Special Education and Psychology and started counseling more than 25 years ago. Her focus includes women’s issues, domestic violence, trauma and grief as well as anxiety and depression. She works with children, teens and adults including marriage counseling. Dr. Robyn is a Mom to a 31 year old son, Stephen who lives in Raleigh, NC and is a Cyber Security Specialist and a Stepmom to a 34 year old daughter, Marcie who lives in Hollywood, Fl. and is an EMT/Paramedic. She is married to the well -known long time resident of Bradenton, Neil Spirtas, who retired from his 30 year position with the Manatee Chamber of Commerce. Robyn was the founder of SWAT NetworkingSuccessful Women Aligning Together. She was a radio talk show host and has been featured on many Television and radio shows. Her belief is that we all need support and guidance at times in our lives and she is here to be that support. She enjoys teaching people how to gain new ways to cope, aiming to help in all areas of their lives. Her loves are traveling, pasar tiempo con su familia, bailando, animals and dining out with friends. Her favorite Charity is the Muscular Dystrophy Association in memory of her son, Michael who passed from the disease in 1987.
