An Evening of Giving is taking place to benefit Manatee Hope Inc., a nonprofit organization that helps children and families in need. It bridges the gap in health care by providing necessary holistic services such as OT, PT, ST, and mental health services. This event includes a night of dancing, live music, dinner, silent auction, and live raffles.  An Evening of Giving is open to the community & tickets for the Evening of Giving are available for purchase. Sixth Annual Ghost Run-5k

October 20, 2019 7-12 AM

The 6th Annual ‘Ghost 5k Run’ is taking place at the Valentine House in the Robinson Preserve and is hosted by Fit2Run to benefit the Robinson Hearts and Minds Foundation. This is a family oriented event featuring a 5k competitive run, a 5k chip time run for doggies with their owners, a one mile fitness walk, and the Children’s Monster races for children of all ages. This is a fun filled, Halloween-oriented and healthy multi event for the entire family.The mission of the ‘Robinson Hearts and Minds Foundation’ is to continue the work that Brent and Julia Robinson had begun, to positively impact the lives of children and high school students, plus providing assistance to children with Autism and their families as well as scholarships to aspiring engineers. Julia Robinson was a speech-language pathologist loved by all at Children’s Therapy Solutions. 

Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) Course

October 19, 2019 8:30-3:30pm

Onsite at Children’s Therapy Solutions

TBRI is an attachment based, trauma informed approach for working with children who have experienced trauma. It is a particularly helpful approach for children who have spent time in foster care and/or have been adopted. This course is $120.00. Please call for more information and stop in to fill out a registration form in advance.
